1. Nothing Changed, No Matter What I Tried

I’m naturally skeptical. If something feels good but doesn’t work, I can’t pretend it does. I grew up in church being told that if you believed hard enough and prayed hard enough, life would change. I did that for years. Same problems. Same patterns. Same life. At some point I had to be honest: if all that effort didn’t change how I was actually living, the system was broken. Leaving was just admitting that.

2. Gurus, Courses, YouTube… Still Stuck

I didn’t magically figure it out after that. I did what everyone does next: Self-help books. Online courses. Productivity systems. Gurus. Podcasts. YouTube advice. “This one system will change your life” type stuff. It all sounded smart and inspiring, but my real life barely moved. My days, money, and habits looked the same. Most of it talked to some generic “you,” not to the actual problems I deal with when I wake up, grab my phone, sit at my desk, and try to get things done. That’s when it clicked: your life only changes in what you actually do, with your real constraints and patterns. If something doesn’t change that, it doesn’t change anything.

3. What Finally Started To Work

So I went the other way. I stopped chasing hype and started looking for what you can see, test, and repeat, what actually changes how you use your time, even when you’re tired or stressed. This is where Loma was born. I used my design background to build a simple paper system for real life, not theory. No prayers. No vibes. No guru. Just clear pages that make you decide what matters, reserve time for it, and see proof that something in your actual life is finally moving.
